This is my first time at Taverna Tony and I was very impressed. The place is beautiful, gives Talum vibes. We went on a Tuesday which is unfortunate because we heard on the weekend there is live music and dancers. The service was great, our waiter was very charming and called me darling all night. The famous house dip lives up to the hype. That spread is incredible, almost like a garlic/cream cheese dip. That was actually overall my favorite dip of the night. The branzino was my favorite dish but the prawns were not too far behind! We also ordered the Spanakopita which was like a spinach pastry almost, sooo delicious! Ordered a variety of deserts but the pistachio cake was by far the best! Can't wait to return!

This place is incredible! The food is excellent! Everything we ate was tasty and delicious!! They offer free bread which is so delicious with a side of hummus. The portions are huge. They get quite busy so the service can be a bit slow but everyone is very friendly. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating.

The free homemade bread with whipped garlic spread is unbeatable; absolute favorite part of the meal! Pasta, grilled veggies, and lamb were also all so flavorful. Would probably come back just for the complimentary house garlic dip - price point of everything else was a little high so maybe for a special occasion. Plenty of parking.

Came here after the beach and felt a little underdressed but it's a fun atmosphere so didn't worry about it too much. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait about an hour for a table. Since it's in the Malibu country Mart, that was fine as we were able to go have a drink somewhere else while we waited. It was Sunday of Labor Day weekend and they had live music and a dancer so it was a pretty lively/fun atmosphere but loud to try and have a conversation. The food and service were great. I really enjoyed the bread and dip they give you to start. We also had the lobster pasta which was delicious and the shrimp which were also tasty. I would definitely come back again.

The food- we got the signature dip and the eggplant dip they're both so yummy, a bit heavy on the garlic. Lamb chops were good, for my taste it was a bit dry. And calamari was so good! Service- it was a prime time on a Saturday night so it was packed and naturally it did affect the service a bit. I've found myself asking for utensils etc but I think it all good. The ambience was just so fun. I would definitely recommend to have a table inside, so you can enjoy the live music and the band. So authentic and fun vibes.

Beautiful outdoor dining in Malibu at the end of cross creek, so no view of the water, but it feels like you are dining in a taverna in Greece. Parking is challenging during the weekend, but the complex has a complimentary valet between the whole foods and public library. We were a table of 5 so we ordered 5 dishes to share. The combination platter is huge with bits of stuffed grape leaves, tiropita, moussaka, spanakopita, pastichio, lamb kleftiko, rice and vegetables for $49.95 my favorites on the platter were the lamb kleftiko and the moussaka. We ordered fried calamari for $18.95 that was tender and crunchy and thankfully included tentacles. I enjoyed the grilled octopus for $26.95 served with spring onions and potato. It was tender and I loved the lemon and olive oil they used. We got lamb skewers for $37.95 that came with rice, peppers, onions, and potatoes. This was my least favorite dish because the meat was cooked medium as requested, but it was tough and a bit dry. If you want lamb, the klefta would be a better choice, that meat was tender and flavorful after the slow cooking with garlic and onion. We also split the refreshing chopped Greek salad $23.95 which we all loved so much we nearly ordered another one!

Always a good time here at Taverna Tony. I had lunch with my cousins a few days ago and really enjoyed our time here. The food was great so was the service. The ambiance is amazing whether you are dining indoors or outdoors. We chose outdoor and it was perfect. If you are ever in Malibu you have to dine here at least once.
